SwiftMQ Dashboard visualizes data produced from SwiftMQ Streams. It can be used as a management and monitoring tool for SwiftMQ Router Networks as well as to visualize any data of any message stream that flows throw a SwiftMQ Router.
SwiftMQ Dashboard complements SwiftMQ Streams and will make SwiftMQ the only messaging system in the world that integrates realtime streaming analytics and visualization in one product where SwiftMQ Router is the data producer, SwiftMQ Streams analyze and SwiftMQ Dashboard visualizes it.
The big advantage for SwiftMQ customers is to be able to analyze and visualize their existing message flow ad hoc without changing message content or clients. We will provide a realistic example in Preview 3.
SwiftMQ Dashboard will be part of SwiftMQ Universal and HA Router at no extra cost!
We have added a Terminal widget that interfaces with a CLI service Stream running on each Router. The Terminal behaves similar to CLI from the command line. Access to CLI is protected by an Admin Rule that is defined per CLI service Stream. You can run multiple CLI services per Router with different Admin Roles and so can grant different privileges to different SwiftMQ Dashboard users.
Dynamic Timelines provide a view of the above connection group mapped on time. You see the connect and disconnect times of each of them over time. AMQP clients are identified by their container id, JMS clients by client id, routing connections by Router names.
The preview version is deployed on an Amazon EC2 instance (EU / Ireland). SwiftMQ Dashboard is connected to a router network consisting of 2 routers (router1, router2). Every hour on the hour, an example application "Order Collector" runs, which generates data on router1 and sends it via the routing connection to a processing stream on router2. There is also an application that simulates AMQP and JMS connections on both routers.
